Which backyard pod size is right for you?
All three pods install in one to two days and stand on adjustable feet. The choice comes down to four things: yard space, how you'll use the room, ceiling height, and whether you want windows that open.
The short answer
| If you… | Choose |
|---|---|
| Have a small or tight yard and need a one-person office | MetroPod · 80 sq ft · $18,900 |
| Want the most-chosen office setup, with solar or Starlink options | WorkPod · 102 sq ft · $20,900 |
| Want one room that works as an office, gym or guest space | StudioPod · 105 sq ft · $22,900 |

1. Measure your space first
Mark out the pod's footprint in the yard and leave room around it for your city's setback rules and for access during installation. If space is tight, the MetroPod is the compact option.
2. Think about how you'll use it
A desk, chair and shelf fit comfortably in any of the three. If you want space for exercise equipment, a guest daybed or a second desk, the StudioPod's 105 sq ft and flexible layout make more sense.
3. Check the ceiling
The MetroPod and StudioPod have 7.25 ft ceilings. The WorkPod has a sloped roof running from 6.8 ft to 9.3 ft, which gives a taller feel at one end.
4. Decide on fresh air
The StudioPod has hinged windows that open. The MetroPod and WorkPod have fixed side windows and a full-height glass door.
5. Plan for power
You'll need an outdoor power source near the pod. Ask an electrician about the right circuit. The WorkPod also offers an optional solar system.
